Dr Tyler Wilson is a scholar specialising in digital media, with a particular emphasis on social media and media-state relations. His work focuses on critically modelling digital and political relationships to evaluate underlying social orders within societies and their institutional implications for societies. Currently he is particularly interested in the application of technology to promote democratic resilience. Alongside his primary work, he is a research consultant for the Interactive Games and Entertainment Association’s biennial Australia Plays and New Zealand Plays report series.
